Welcome to the Laboratory for Multiscale Tissue Engineering (Chan Lab). We are jointly affiliated with the Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (iTERM) and School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

The mission of Chan Laboratory at CUHK is to advance tissue engineering research via deciphering and modulating cell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix (biochemical and physical) interactions at multiple scales, and integrate multiscale technologies for translational regenerative medicine. We are a highly interdisciplinary research group with expertise in stem cell biology, biomaterials, microfluidics, and 3D printing.
